The Ballymaloe Good Living Day

On Sunday, the 25th of February, the Good Living Day Festival is set to bring the importance of health & wellbeing to life. This annual event, which is being hosted this year by TV3’s Deric O’hArtagain & opened by Rachel Allen, promises to be another vibrant, fun filled & informative day for the whole family. 

The festivals program is bursting with fun activities for the whole family – Cooking demos will be hosted by Rachel Allen & Chefs include Melissa Hemsley, James Kavanagh & William Murray from Curabinny foods, Lilly Higgins, Rocket Man & Lean Mean Momma. If fitness is your thing then you can choose from a class with Fitness World Champ Claire McGrath; Yoga with Instagram star Cat Bradley; the annual 5K fun run ; Kids Capoeira; Mindfulness classes; Face painting; Garden Tours; a range of fresh and locally produced street food street food; ice cream; coffee; information stalls, and more.

Whats on?

The festival is going to give attendees access to a range of local health professionals & material. From immunisation & other general health topics, to fitness challenges, to healthy cooking tips, there is something for everyone in this year’s festival.

Based on previous years feedback, this year’s event should leave you feeling refreshed. It is a great day out for everyone, connecting & supporting local residents, breaking down barriers & helping to understand people’s experiences around their mental health.

Good Living Day Lucky Run

The Good Living Day festival is proudly supported by Ballymaloe Relish who kindly sponsor the 5K Fun Run.

The Ballymaloe Relish 5k Lucky Run which celebrates the joy of movement. Relish a rewarding afternoon on the 5k trail winding around the beautiful grounds of Ballymaloe House and Farm.

Entry €6.00 per person, includes access to pre booked exercise classes and all fringe events Under 16 free.
Talks €10.00 per person per talk.
Cooking demos €20.00 per person per demo.
